The Wii Fit is pretty amazing so my stock pick for...
The stock price at $47.80 is a bit high from it’s 52 week low of $32 and it is more than half way up to it’s 52 week high of $74.90 so in theory we should wait until it is under $35 a share.
So let’s wait the stock market could and probably will bring this stock down to $35 again.

At some point everyone will just be trading ETF's...
ETF’s are a group of stocks in a certain sector that averages out in some way how the stocks are doing in that sector as a whole. If the sector is doing good then your ETF is going up and vice versa if it the sector is doing bad.

The problem is that the stocks go down way faster
and harsher than they go up….
So you have to think of buying as an investment because as soon as you buy something it may go up like 10% which isn’t enough to sell for any sort of real profit( unless you buy over a 1000 shares of something) but then your stock will go down like 30% at which point you wondered why you bought it at the point you bought it at.
Luckily for cost averaging...

They short stocks. They buy a stock and sell that stock right away and then they buy it back when it is lower making the difference on the way down. Not everyone can do this well unless you use an ETF. It is pretty amazing really because they get the lower stock price and they make money on the way down.

I still can't believe that so many people buy new...
First off it is the worst investment in the world.
Is it the new car smell?
Is it because everyone else does it?
Is it for safety reasons?
It is amazing that we think it is normal to buy something for over $20000 that they end up getting rid of at some point for probably $2000.
Can you imagine a stock market investment that went down that much in 5 years.

20/20 hindsight and the market
When I look at the charts of the market’s history I can find as many reasons to think the market is going up next year as I can find reasons to think it is going to go down next year. So next year at this time I will be able to look back and think see I knew that was possible…
The market is suppose to be forward looking
but it is so reactionary lately…
I guess forward looking is hearing bad news now and thinking it is going to get worse..
I would think forward looking would be to see so far in the future that short term news really doesn’t effect it.
I guess that is why Warren Buffet says he can’t tell what is going to happen short term but in the long term the markets should go up..

I am not giving my 2PM prediction today
I have been off last week and when you are off in the market your instinct is to add more or attack it but the best way to deal with it is pull back and watch it for a bit.
It is like a surfer who keeps missing the waves but still goes out into the water and ends up tiring himself out and getting spit out by the ocean.

Artists trading stocks know the date of earnings release for your stock. ( you can find it by searching your stock on google finance) This is important because after earning releases your stock will either jump on good new or fall hard on bad news.
