my main goal is to figure out
why i did so good in the cnbc portfolio challenge
but in real life
not as good
new week the dow is low but it didn’t test the lows in nov.
which makes you ask the question….
Do you think that it will test the lows this week?
Hmmm I am not sure either.
Hey I wish I would have bought some Barclays bank stock on Friday. It is up 62% today.
I had it on my watch list but I have like 30 stocks on my watch list.

This is my best portfolio with a 48% gain. My game rank is in the 4.1 percentile so I am sure I beat a lot of hedge fund traders.
The next portfolio challenge my goal is to double my money.
The CNBC portfolio challenge has ended. You start with a million dollars and 5 portfolios. I ended up making money in all of my portfolios with gains between 14 and 48%.

The stock market may be close to 8000 but a lot of the stocks I want are still above their 52 week low
So,
I am hoping the market goes lower……
but be careful what you wish for
I like reading the ”disucssions” of certain stocks on Google finance…
This blog discussion is for Palm the maker of an Iphone like device for Sprint.
This is such a long shot but and I would never suggest doing this but it is interesting to hear the guys story who put all his money in at $2 a share and now it is around $7..
discussions are located on the right side midway down the page once you look up a stock on google finance.
So in 9 weeks If I had a million dollars I would have made 500,000 on this account…
I am in the 3.3 percentile in the CNBC Portfolio Challenge….
